CVS

image

This week my new favorite drugstore, Rite Aid does not have much happening, so I stopped by CVS to get my free after extra bucks chocolate. The red machine is printing $1.00 any toothbrush coupons and the Colgate 360 toothbrush is on sale for $2.99 and it will give you $2.00 back in extra bucks, so free toothbrushes, yay :)

I read on Cindy’s blog, that the Crest 2.7 oz toothpaste is generating $3.00 in extra bucks, the price at my store was $2.87. I did two transactions, the first one was just the toothpaste.

Crest toothpaste $2.87-$2.00 extrabuck (I had these from a previous trip) total $1.12 and I received $3.00 in extrabucks

Second Transaction
  • 2 Milky Way Bars $1.50- $0.75 off two coupon from coupons.com $0.75
  • 1 Colgate 360 toothbrush $2.99- $1.00 coupon from the red machine $1.99
I used my $3.00 in extra bucks from the first transaction and I paid $0.05 and received $2.75 in extrabucks. My total cost was $1.42.

Small Rite Aid Trip

image

My Rite Aid scavenger hunt, did not go as planned. I was hoping to find more of the Pampers Sensitive diapers, that I purchased yesterday, but I did not see a single pack. I was able to find more of the Huggies Sensitive wipes, but I'm waiting for the coupons that I purchased.

I forgot about the Optimum conditioner deal that I read about on a forum, so I tried it out and it worked like a charm. If you purchase one of the pictured deep conditioners (In my store they were $1.79) they are on sale for $1.00 off whatever your shelf price is. I paid $0.79 per package and you will get back $1.00 in up rewards. The chocolate, I thought was on sale for $0.99 and I had a bogo for the air delight, that I believe was in the Smartsource two weeks ago. However, it rang up as bogo free, so I got both bars for free. There are only three pictured, because I ate one of the Air Delight bars on my way home :)

My total out of pocket cost was $1.90 and I received $2.00 in up rewards, so essentially I was paid
$0.10 to take these items home. You can do this deals three times. I hope everyone has a great holiday weekend.

Pampers Clearance at Rite Aid

image

I have been looking for these pampers for a few days now. I finally found them, but in true Rite Aid fashion, they were not 75% off, but 50% off instead. I was hesitant to get them because $3.24 is a way better price than $6.49.

My diaper stash is dwindling, so I picked up the last two packs in the store. I had a $1.50 off coupon, which is still available to print on coupons.com. I paid $9.98 for both packs, which comes out to about $0.19 per diaper, way above my ideal price, but what can you do when you have a little one in diapers.

I plan on going on a Rite aid scavenger hunt tomorrow after work, lol. I want to see if I can find anymore of the Huggies wipes and these Pampers. I will post what, if anything I purchase on my trip tomorrow.

Did you find any good deals at Rite Aid this week? Leave a comment and let me know.

Rite Aid

image

I read on one of the forums that people were finding Huggies wipes on clearance at Rite Aid. I really did not expect to find these because I never find ANYTHING on clearance at any of the Rite Aids in my area and if I do they are never the price that everyone else is buying them at. I was so happy when I found these, but I did not expect them to be on clearance. To my surprise, when I asked the cashier for a price check they rang up at $2.12 (they price others were finding them for). I ran and got two more packages.

There was a $0.50 off any one Huggies baby wipes 56 count or higher in yesterday's SmartSource. So my total OOP was $5.42 or $1.62 per pack plus the applicable tax. My total before tax was $4.86, I paid $0.56 in tax. This is a great deal on wipes, because it comes out to less than one cents per wipe, which is definitely a stock up price. Run to your nearest Rite Aid and stock up before they are all gone :)

More Target Shopping

image

I actually purchased these items before the dial soap, because the Dial coupon was unavailable and like I said I needed hand soap. The Up and Up soap was $0.99 and there is still a $0.50 coupon available on Target’s website. The pudding was $0.95 and I had a $1.00 off three coupon. There is also a $1.00 off any up and up baby skin or hair care item on Target’s website. I wanted to purchase some baby powder for myself, but I did not see it at either of the Targets that I went to.

I really hate printing coupons and not using them, because I am pretty much throwing away my ink and as we all know ink is not cheap. I purchased the up and up petroleum instead. My OOP for this trip was $3.44.

Up and Up Petroleum $1.52 minus $1.00 coupon $0.52
Hunts Pudding (3) $2.85 minus $1.00 coupon $1.85 for three
Up and Up Hand soap(2) $1.98 minus $1.00 (2 $0.50 coupon) $0.98 for two

Target Shopping Trip

image

This is my Target trip from last week. I was in desperate need of hand soap and I am so spoiled that I REFUSE to pay the usual “sale” price of $0.99 for a bottle, so naturally we went without. There was a dial coupon on coupons.com for $2.00 off four and I paired it with (2) $1.00 off two target coupons. (My Target allows me to use two like Target coupons in a transactions) I have two computers so I was able to print four coupons, if you only have access to one computer you can only print two of any coupon.

My total OOP (out-of-pocket) for the above transaction was $4.73, the four soaps were $1.16 each and the pudding was on price reduction for $0.95, there is a $1.00 off three coupon on coupons.com, which made them $0.62 each.

Did you purchase any of the Dial hand soaps from Target last week? Leave a comment and let me know how you did.

New Breyers Blasts Facebook Coupon

There is a new Breyers Blasts coupon available to print when you like them Facebook.  Starting Friday May 18, 2012 Breyers Ice Cream will be on sale at Pathmark for $1.99 as a part of their three day sale.  If the Breyers Blasts are included and your store doubles coupons, you could possibly get ice cream for only $0.49.  This makes for some very cheap ice cream, my favorite kind :)

This Weeks Pathmark Trip

This is my Pathmark shopping trip for this week, so the prices of everything pictured are still good until Thursday. Pathmark sales ad begin on Friday.

Breakdown is as follows:
Capri Sun $1.39, bought six and used two 0.75 off coupons that doubled, so $2.67 for three or $0.89 per pack.
EZ steam veggies $1.50 per pack, not great, but I needed them.
Beech Nut baby food, clearanced to 0.36, plus pathmark has a baby program where you get 10% off, so I paid 0.32 per jar.
Similac clearanced to $2.49 minus 0.25 per can for baby rewards $2.24 per can. I also had a $5.00 check for the formula, so I only paid for two cans.
Minute Maid juices were 0.99 each
Purex Fabric Softener 1.99 (raincheck) two 0.75 coupons that doubled 0.49 per container
Lucky Charms 1.99 each minus $1.10 coupon, plus zavers of 0.50 $1.19 per box
And my favorite entenmann's donuts were $2.50
My total for everything was $25.42, pretty good considering that I got four cans of formula.
